The Ladies of SI Swimsuit Took Over South Beach For a Great Cause

The ladies of SI Swimsuit rocked South Beach this past weekend, and it was all for a great cause!

If you weren't in South Beach this past weekend, man, oh man, did you miss out!

In what might have been one of the greatest (and sexiest) weekends EVER in Miami, the ladies of SI Swimsuit and GACP Sports took over South Beach — and it was all in the name of a good cause!

The whirlwind weekend started with the cutest slumber party you've ever seen at the W South Beach. The #SISwimSearch Sweet 16 babes teamed up with Best Buddies, a non-profit that creates amazing opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, to help prep the members of the organization for their annual gala. The ladies helped dish out style tips and manicures to ensure that all of the Best Buddies would feel red carpet-ready for their party the following night. Talk about a night of ALL THE FEELS...

The following morning, the #SISwimSearch ladies got ready for their own close-ups, as we joined forces with FAE for a super-sexy special project. Each woman in this year's model search competition rocked one look from the swimwear brand's latest collection, and let us just tell you, you are going to want to see EVERY. SINGLE. PHOTO.

Back at the W South Beach, SI Swimsuit models began to arrive, and where whisked off to a much-needed yoga class and Instagram-worthy brunch. The brunch, hosted by Modern Luxury and European Wax Center, featured tasty treats and a quick presentation about the Pink Tax, "a phenomenon often attributed as a form of gender-based price discrimination, with the name stemming from the observation that many of the affected products are pink." A brunch that leaves you informed and full? Talk about a win-win!

Friday night, SI Swimsuit models attended a panel called "What She Said," which focused on female empowerment and body positvity. SI Swimsuit Editor MJ Day was joined by SI Swimsuit model Olivia Culpo and SI Swimsuit athlete Brenna Huckaby in a candid conversation about the struggles women face in fashion, sports and beyond. Afterwards, the crew enjoyed dinner at The Dutch and a night out at Wall to celebrate an ultra-successful day in South Beach!

Seems like enough for one weekend? We were only just getting started! Saturday morning the ladies of SI Swimsuit headed to the beach in front of the W South Beach for the main event. Models, celebrities and public figures from Miami gathered for a celebrity beach soccer match hosted by GACP Sports, to once again benefit Best Buddies. Models walked the red carpet before playing in a super-fun soccer match between Team A & B. And while one team (cough, cough Team B) was victorious, we think every single person at the event walked away a winner!

To wrap things up, the ladies of SI Swimsuit got dolled up and headed down to the red carpet at the Wet Deck ahead of a Flo Ridaconcert Saturday night. As the lyrics to "Low" and "My House" filled the area around the pool, models and special guests danced the night away, all to benefit the Little Lighthouse Foundation, an orgniazation that creates programs benefiting underserved children and their families across South Florida. Seriously, can you think of a better weekend?
